Request to Change Bank Account Number

Through this service, pensioners and beneficiaries can request the change of the bank account number used to transfer their pension salary, within the same bank or from one bank to another.

5 working days to update the bank account number, while ensuring to submit the request 20 days prior to disbursement date.

Required Documents

The required documents differ based on the change request type. Please ensure you have the following documents when submitting a request to change your bank account number (IBAN):

Within the same bank

  • IBAN certificate
  • Emirates ID copy

From one bank to another

  • Clearance certificate from the first bank
  • IBAN certificate from the new bank
  • Emirates ID copy​

Prerequisites

The request must be submited 20 days prior to the announced disbursement date of the month.

​The requester must be:

  • A pensioner at GPSSA, or
  • A beneficiary, or
  • A guardian of the beneficiaries

Service Procedure

This service can be obtained through the website or our customer happiness centers. Please follow these step to submit your application through:

Website

  1. Click on the 'Start service' tab above. (Requires logging in)
  2. login to your pensioner account on our website.
  3. Enter the required details.
  4. Upload the required documents and submit your request.
  5. Rate your satisfaction level with the service, knowing that service rating is mandatory and we may not receive the request without it.
  6. After rating the service, click on 'Send'.
  7. You will receive an SMS or email notification including the request reference number.
  8. Wait for GPSSA's approval on the request to change the bank account number as per your request.

Customer Happiness Centers

  1. Visit any of our customer happiness centers.
  2. Submit the required documents alond with the relevant request form.
  3. Rate your satisfaction level with the service.
  4. Receive the request reference number.
  5. Wait for GPSSA's approval on the request to change the bank account number as per your request.
