Request the Registration of Gulf Cooperation Council Citizens Working in UAE

Through this service, UAE employers in the government and private sectors can register GCC citizens working in UAE in the civil retirement fund of the employee's home country, as part of  GCC insurance protection extention program. Registration is mandatory and is done in coordination with the General Pension and Social Security Authority.

Required Documents

  • The unified form of the GCC insurance protection extension program, duly filled.
  • The documents required by the local retirement authorities as highlighted in the unified form.
  • Passport Copy.
  • Emirates ID Copy.
  • GCC National ID Copy.
  • Employment decree or contract, as per the procedures of the employer.
  • Birth certificate.

Prerequisites

The employee must be:

  • A GCC national.
  • Working at an employer registered in UAE.

Service Procedure

GPSSA receives registration requests through its website, while retirement authorities outside UAE require true copies of the required documents. Please follow the steps below to complete the registration process.

To submit the registration request through the website:

  1. Click on the 'Start service' tab above. (Requires logging in)
  2. Enter the required details on the page.
  3. Fill in the unified form for the insurance protection extension program.
  4. Attach the required documents as highlighted in the unified form.
  5. Submit the request and wait for GPSSA's approval to receive the request. 
  6. Receive confirmation message with GPSSA's approval/rejection including the reference number.

To deliver the true copies of all documents:

  1. Visit any of our customer happiness centers and submit the true copies of all documents while specifying the reference number.
  2. GPSSA coordinates with the local retirement authority in the employee's home country to get approval on the request.
  3. The local retirement authority in the employee's home country replies to GPSSA with approval or rejection.
  4. GPSSA sends you an email notification including the approval or rejection with any further instruction you need to follow.
