GPSSA adds the Electronic Seal feature to the To Whom It May Concern Certificate

Abu Dhabi, 27th November 2022:  The General Pension and Social Security Authority (GPSSA) said that it has updated the issuance of the ‘To Whom It May Concern’ certificate by adding the electronic seal, also known as an eSeal feature to the pension certificate.

The authority clarified that the eSeal on the certificate is important in that the To Whom It May Concern certificate that is issued to pensioners and insured individuals no longer requires certification, approval or verification by any party, and can now be verified in the UAE Pass website.

The authority stated that these procedures raise the level of data security and protection, and minimize the procedures to verify the validity of documents in place by government authorities, which reflects on the level of development in dealing with data through innovative and modern systems that are in place as a result of a joint partnership between the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA), Abu Dhabi Digital Authority and the Digital Dubai Authority.
